Try Our Delicious Spicy Pop Prawns Recipe!
Ingredients:
- 450 g prawns deveined and peeled.
Seasoned Flour:
- 1 cup flour.
- 1 Tbsp smoked or normal paprika.
- 1 Tbsp cajun seasoning.
- 2 tsp salt.
- 1 tsp black pepper
Egg Mixture:
- 1 egg
- 3 Tbsp milk
- 1 tsp cajun seasoning.

2 tsp aromat.
Method:
- In a medium sized bowl, add your flour, smoked paprika, cajun seasoning, salt and pepper.
- Transfer about half of the flour mixture into a large zip lock bag.
- Add the prawns to your zip lock bag containing the seasoned flour and shake well so that the prawns are all coated with flour. Remove prawns from the bag and shake off any excess flour.
- In a separate bowl, add egg, milk, cajun seasoning and aromat. Stir well so everything is properly mixed.
- Dredge the floured prawn in the egg mixture, then coat for a second time with the fresh seasoned flour mixture.
- Heat oil to high heat / 180°C.
- Fry prawns for a few minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and french fries. Squeeze over a little bit and lemon and enjoy.
